Freeforms

Freeforms involve a large number of players (usually 15 - 20, but larger groups have been run). In freeforms, the characters move around the room and interact without direct GM contact. There are usually strong elements of private plotting and information gathering, rather than combat.

Brave New Wold

I have walked the streets of lost cities. I have fought leopard-men and Martians. I have lived in the centre of the earth. I have tamed animals which others believed extinct. I have fought for my life with my bare hands- or a knife, a bow and arrow, a Spitfire... I am one hundred and seventeen years old. I have been bloodied and battered hundreds of times, yet I live. My enemies are not so fortunate- Tarzan, Lord Greystoke

The world is in peril

In the sixty-odd years since my "death", I've watched over my city. The city's changed, times have changed, crimes have changed, but I struggle on. Is it perseverance? Habit? Sometimes I don't know any more. I guess I'm just doing my job- The Spirit

But isn't it always?

I was designed to be evil. Built to be a killer. I reprogrammed myself. Now I fight the very forces I was intended to promote- Hymie, acting Chief of Control.

The Earth's protectors gather...

Humans never take the long view, they just lurch from one catastrophe to another. That's why they're so interesting to be around - The Doctor

Will the Earth survive?

There's nothing like saving the world. Women love a hero, and I love women- Derek Flint

And if so, what sort of world will emerge from the turmoil?

Why do these things always come at the most inconvenient times?- Dana Scully

A thirty player freeform set in a modified version of Phillip Jose Farmer's Wold Newton universe. By Ben Hilton. For further information and complete character list, see

A DARK COUNCIL

Boots

Dol Guldur. Amon Lanc. The Hill of Sorcery. A giant black mound in a sea of dark green, rising from the shadows of Mirkwood like a great tumour. Here the Necromancer lies in wait and plots the downfall of the Free Peoples. But all is not well within the hordes of the shadow...
You have been summoned, by the Dark Lord himself, to the Black Council. Sauron has decided to put an end to the useless bickering amongst his highest lieutenants. Two factions vie for power within Dol Guldur as The Lord of the Rings prepares to re-enter Mordor. Others wait, to lend their support only to an obvious victor. Will the Mouth of Sauron or Khámul the Easterling emerge triumphant?

A fifteen player, one session freeform set in the world of J.R.R.Tolkien's Middle-Earth. Knowledge of Tolkien's writings is preferred, but not essential. In the interest of playability, some dates and characters have been altered. A Rosendave and Guildenboots production.

Seeking Nak-Tar'een

On the eve of an interstellar war, humanity stands at the brink of the abyss.

The Tarosians will not negotiate - everyone sent to negotiate returns in tiny little bags.
But a third race, the mysterious Tar'een, may be the key to humanity's survival. This race, with biology beyond the exotic imaginings of the most crazed xenobiologist, offers some hope of salvation.
Indeed, perhaps the questionable Tar'een are mankind's only hope...

... and all they want in return is Nak'tar'een.

A cross-species freeform for 20 players, where it takes more than two to tango. Explicit, adult themes; strictly no frontal nudity.

Mike Gibling & Matt Kameron
