Daylight Arrives

September 1942
Stalingrad U.S.S.R

While the Luftwaffe starts the systematic destruction from the sky, experienced Whermacht troopers move in to capture the city block by block. The city's defenders are outmanned and outgunned but they have no choice. Retreat is not an option. They must hold out until the bulk of the Soviet army can be moved into place. The loyal workers of the Red October Factory still build tanks even as the German Panzers loom into view. The streets become a killing ground. Hitler has ordered the capture of the city at any cost, while Stalin has ordered that it be defended to the last man.

Stalingrad is a grinder that will claim the lives of over five million men, women and children.
This is "Total War" there are no rules, no front-lines, no mercy.

Early in the morning a score of souls hasten to find shelter and protection, they stumble into the basement of a bombed out building. Three hours until the artillery stops and the Stuka's start their banshee wail. Three hours until the Panzers crush buildings and people beneath their treads, just three hours until the bloodshed starts again.

For in three hours daylight arrives.

Daylight Arrives is a Freeform for fifteen players.
It is heavy on characterisation and roleplaying and contains serious adult concepts.
Knowledge of WWII history or politics is not required

City of Blood and Darkness
A Planescape Freeform

Throughout the myriad planes of the multiverse are many cities where beings both mortal and immortal dwell. One such is Sigil, the City of Doors; a wondrous city of ancient mystery.

Another is Ribcage. A city of evil, oppressive Order, of blood, and of darkness.

Ribcage teeters on the edge of a Lower Plane of evil, the fiends held at bay only by the efforts of Lord Paracs. If this sorcerer falls, Ribcage will plunge into the Nine Pits of Hell. Yet surely the celestials would not allow such a victory for evil?

This is a 40 player freeform set in the Planescape setting, a multiverse of fantasy, intrigue, and dark secrets. Familiarity with AD&D rules is not required to play this game. This freeform is the third Planescape game by the same designer as The Door to Everywhere (Macquariecon '98) and Immortal Sins (SAGA '99). Some characters and themes are common to all three games, but they are otherwise unrelated.
